THE mother of a 21-year-old who died suddenly due to epilepsy has paid tribute to her “best friend”.
Barbara Hepworth’s daughter Amy Marsden died in April after having a seizure.
And yesterday , the 52-year-old organised a festive 5km fun run at Markeaton Park to help raise funds for the Amy Marsden Memorial Fund – founded to raise money and public awareness for the Epilepsy Society and other epilepsy charities.
Barbara, of Castle Donington, said: “We were competing against a well-established Santa fun run in Derby but it was fun.”
