A single dad from Hull has said he almost lost his home after being forced to wait seven months for a government payment when he was diagnosed with epilepsy.
Simon Brown, 43, said he was forced to resort to a diet of baked beans as he waited for the Personal Independent Payment (PIP) after being forced to give up work due to his condition.
