The daughter of foreign minister Avigdor Liberman announced on her Facebook account over the weekend that she is afflicted with epilepsy.
Michal Liberman-Galon posted a photograph of herself lying in a hospital bed alongside a lengthy post in which she describes her condition in detail.
“Let’s talk about epilepsy,” she wrote. “My epilepsy.”
“On the eve of Rosh Hashanah, as I was leisurely cooking, I suffered an epileptic attack that ended with me falling against the door of a hot oven,” she wrote. “I suffered third-degree burns on my chest, leg, and hand. I was rushed to hospital, and I’m still here. I’ve been here for the last five weeks (but who’s counting?).”
