Morgan Leaf may be small, but she’s fearless.
Standing 4-foot-8, the rising senior at Our Lady of Mercy Academy in Newfield has no intention of letting a seizure disorder stop her from doing one of the things she loves most: cheerleading.
“She’s feisty,” said her mother, Denise Leaf. “She’s a go-getter.”
An All-Star Level 5 cheerleader with Jersey Pride cheerleading, Morgan Leaf was diagnosed with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy two years ago, but has controlled it with medication and regular neurological appointments.
