Minnesota coach Jerry Kill’s shoutout to “Doc Smith in Grand Rapids” is captured in a video clip on ESPN’s Big Ten blog.
Kill’s comment came after Minnesota’s 30-14 victory over Michigan on Saturday, Sept. 27. Kill credited Dr. Brien Smith, an epilepsy specialist at Spectrum Health, for helping him to return to the sidelines.
