Jessica Waters was diagnosed with epilepsy when she was 11 years old. Since then, she created Cupcakes for Camp, a charity that sends kids with epilepsy to Camp Flame Catcher.
“I know how important it was to have good counselors. When I came they were one of the biggest parts in me completely changing my mentality about epilepsy in what it is and how it affects people. I thought I would just come back and try and be as helpful as they were to me,” tells Waters.
The Epilepsy Network is a worldwide community of people with epilepsy, family and friends, uniting to talk about their experiences, learn information about epilepsy, ask questions and so much more! Don’t let epilepsy defeat you, let it inspire you!
