Just a couple weeks ago, Sandy Creek Middle School seventh grader Mikaela Meyer had a seizure.
“I fell on the ground and then I started shaking,” Meyer said. “I woke up in the ambulance, and I was still seizing.”
An experience, many students said was scary, but Monday morning, Midwest Medical Transport changed all that when they landed their helicopter on school grounds.
“It was really cool because all the leaves starting blowing away, and they were going everywhere,” said seventh grader Breanna Brennfoerder.
