Jessica Waters was 11 years old when she was diagnosed with epilepsy. Her life completely changed. She wasn’t allowed to do the things that other kids could such as swimming by herself or even watching television because it could trigger a seizure.
Her mother decided to send her to a camp for children with epilepsy. It had a significant impact on her and changed her outlook on life. It also motivated her to make sure others could experience what she did.
The Epilepsy Network is a worldwide community of people with epilepsy, family and friends, uniting to talk about their experiences, learn information about epilepsy, ask questions and so much more! Don’t let epilepsy defeat you, let it inspire you!
