Chesterfield Township resident Alexa Laforte recently had a chance to come face to face with the first responders who saved her life.
23 year old Alexa battles a form of epilepsy that can be hard to diagnose, as it results in seizures occurring in a localized part of the brain. She recently experienced 24 seizures in one month as a result of her focal epilepsy and spent the entire month on a ventilator in the hospital.
