The helpless feeling of seeing a seizure for the first time can be a frightening experience.
It was particularly dangerous for mother of five Kelly Wiggett, who was alone when she had two seizures on a bus in Gloucester.
She could have died but for the quick-thinking actions of the driver and fellow passenger, Catherine Hipwell.
Kelly, 26, was on her way to visit a friend and had caught the bus in Matson.
She has suffered epilepsy for 12 years but had not had a seizure for a year until three struck in close succession during July and had two more on the bus last week.
