A student with epilepsy had been stuck on an NHS waiting list for a shower to be installed at his home for months when he suffered a seizure and drowned in his bath.
NHS officials and landlord Aspire Housing had both supported a decision to install the shower and wet room at Christopher Jones’s Cross Heath home.
But the 27-year-old was still waiting for the bath to be removed when he drowned – nine months after first being assessed.
Now Christopher’s grieving parents say their son would still be alive today if the shower had been installed.
