Hospitalized and miserable, Dan Hassall knew he needed to lose weight when he heard his doctor suggest his recent seizures might be due to his size.
When another epilepsy sufferer suggested he join Slimming World, Dan nervously sought out his local group and took the first steps on his weight loss journey.
“I was having partial seizures quite often back then. It never occurred to me at the time that my size had anything to do with my epilepsy,” the 20-year-old, of Palmer Road, Sandbach, said.”I spoke to a guy in the bed next to me who had been told something similar and he suggested I give Slimming World a try and I can’t believe how much it’s helped change my life.”
