‘I had a brain tumor for 10 years and didn’t realize’: A mother’s shock after doctors discover large growth after she has seizure.
A woman who collapsed with a seizure discovered she had been living with a tumor half the size of her brain.
Donna McWhinnie, 26, had no idea she had the cancerous glioma tumor, which had been growing for 10 years, until she was rushed to hospital after a sudden seizure.
The tumor was 10cm by 5cm – half the size of her brain. The young mother had never suffered any serious health problems before she fell ill suddenly on February 24.
