Steve Ebersole fears his granddaughter, who suffers multiple seizures every week, is running out of options. And the Mount Pleasant Township resident is willing to let his voice be heard as to why he wants her to have legal access to medical marijuana to treat her epileptic seizures.
The 62-year-old grandfather of Annie Sharrer spoke at a press conference on April 28 in Harrisburg, urging Gov. Tom Corbett to meet and speak with families about medical marijuana. Annie, who lives in Tyrone Township, Adams County, with her parents, Angie and Matt Sharrer, suffers multiple seizures every week.
Sen. Daylin Leach, a Democrat from eastern Pennsylvania, proposed a sit-in outside the governor’s office if Corbett does not soon schedule a meeting with families of children who have epilepsy.
