A London schoolgirl who battles epilepsy has told of her struggle with the condition as campaigners call on epilepsy diagnosees not to tolerate discrimination.
Olivia Salvati, 18, has endured regular seizures, sometimes as often as once a week, since she was diagnosed with the condition at just 11 years old.
The Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar school student has sometimes been forced to take up to a month off school while she battles with exhaustion caused by her epilepsy.
She battles myoclonic epilepsy, which can cause her body to jerk uncontrollably, after previously being diagnosed with absence and tonic clonic epilepsy.
