Seventeen-year-old Kayla Borman’s daily battle with epileptic seizures is the lemon in her life.
But the Fridley girl’s determination to turn lemons into lemonade took literal shape earlier this month: She raised more than $1,000 from her sixth annual Lemonade Fundraiser for the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota.
