The former Minnesota State University-Mankato football player who was beaten outside a Mankato bar last spring has been diagnosed with epilepsy. Isaac Kolstad suffered a seizure, prompting tests and the epilepsy diagnosis, his wife Molly Kolstad reported Saturday on his CaringBridge.org site.Isaac Kolstad, who played high school football in Mankato, has been recovering since he suffered a skull fracture when he was knocked to the ground and kicked in the head outside a Mankato bar in May.
