For some people whose epilepsy can’t be controlled with medicine, surgically removing a small piece of the brain can reduce seizures.
Unfortunately, Ryan Diettrich isn’t one of those people. So in October, Ryan, 24, joined a small group of epilepsy patients who has chosen the RNS system, made by the company NeuroPace, in order to manage his seizures.
