One family in Maine is bringing people together to raise awareness of epilepsy.
The Jerome family held a fundraiser in Orrington Saturday to raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation of New England. They were inspired to get involved in the fight against epilepsy when their daughter Brianna was suddenly diagnosed with it three years ago.
The Jeromes didn’t know any other families with a child facing the same disorder and they felt very alone. Now they are working to bring families with epileptic children together.
