A disabled dad who lost his wallet on a Stagecoach bus has told how the firm charged him £27 to give it back.
Epilepsy sufferer Arthur Adlam, 31, panicked when he realised the wallet – containing £245 including his disability allowance – was gone.
He’s been taking his kids to nursery on the bus, and nursery staff phoned Stagecoach and the police to help him find it.
The wallet turned up a few hours later at the bus depot in Arthur’s home town of Dunfermline.
But he was astonished when Stagecoach demanded a cut of his own money to return it.
