Tara Reynolds has called on the community to help raise vital funds to help Epilepsy Action Australia assist people living with epilepsy.
Ms Reynolds, who has lived with epilepsy for about 20 years, is the only one in her family with the condition.
She has signed up to walk the Great Wall of China over five days in September as part of Inspired Adventures’ Action for Epilepsy: Great Wall of China Challenge.
Ms Reynolds is the only person from Western Australia who will take part in the challenge.
“Back in October, I was told applications had opened for this trip for people who live with, or know someone who lives with, epilepsy so I signed up,” she said.
The trek will see her learning about the work of the Project Hope team in Beijing, working to improve the lives of people with epilepsy living in China.
