A Midlothian dog owner is appealing for help in finding her family’s beloved dog whose disappearance has left them “devastated”.
Wendy Rowat is worried about the health of her 17 month old red setter dog Olly, who suffers from epilepsy and has been without his medication since he went missing from the North Middleton/Borthwick area on Saturday.
She said: “He was just recently out of hospital, we only got him back nearly two weeks ago. So he was just starting to be well again.
“My husband had taken him out on Saturday night and he got spooked by something and ran off. There was no sign of him anywhere.
“Although he is only two, he does look older due to his health problems.
“I’m willing to pay a reward for his return if that helps.
“We are devastated, and we have got two children that are quite young so they are in bits.
“Olly is a member of our family.”
Olly is red with a white chest and white flash on his head – If you have any information please contact Wendy on 07812 064628.
