Westbury mom Abbie Wheeler and her eldest son are having their heads shaved tomorrow to raise money for Epilepsy Action, after her youngest son was diagnosed with the condition in January.
Mrs Wheeler, who lives with her husband Geoff and their three children in Bridge Court, Westbury, found out that her six-year-old son Sam had epilepsy when he started having seizures in November.
The family had just returned from America, where they had been living for three months as a result of Mr Wheeler’s work, when Sam began having regular seizures, which were eventually diagnosed as epilepsy.
